dracxnian:

She blinks twice, only to take notice of the fact that man’s staring back at her and diverts her attention. It’s rude to stare, Zaria. You could offend him. Bending at the waist to give a small bow, she offers him an apology in her action for staring. As a princess, she’s not supposed to bow any lower, let alone be bowing at all. A princess must curtsy. The faint voice of Aunt Millerna can be heard while Gaddes retorts to ‘give the little lady a break’ because she’s still young. Once she straightens herself, she turns her attention back to the mannequins, the curiosity arising once more at the odd clothing displayed that her head decides to tilt slightly.

He watches the bow with an unfazed facade. Yet the act seems almost forced, not in the rude way of  ‘i don’t intend to bow to you’ but more as of she had never really seen the need before. Hastily she turns around, assumingly intending to end their encounter. Yet hee find himself standing put, mainly due to the sword sticking out into the line of sight from all passerbyes. A sigh escapes his lips before he turns towards her again. “Young Lady,” he begins, the similarity of his presence and hers refraining him from calling her a girl. “You should be more careful with the sword on your side.”
